SWEET LOVE BAKERY: The bakery has become my (Katie) summer hobby! At Havelock we are famous for our huge cookies, gourmet brownies and caramel corn! We also offer muffins, danish, coconut macroons, handcrafted buttery caramels and ONLY offered at Havelock is our personal homemade pies. We use butter! 

MAMA MARA MEAT RUBS: Our rubs are made with a little brown sugar, a little spice and a lot of Mama's love! We don't use additives, perspectives or MSG.

GROOVY GURU GRANOLA: Havelock Farmer's Market will always hold a special place in our hearts! We have been selling organic milk since August of 2006.  Last winter(Feb 2009) when our milk company decided to drop our route we decided we did not want to go back to selling to the conventional market.  Our cows are mostly jersey and jersey crossed with some holstein and normady cows.  They are 100% grass-fed with no grain.  We have an outstanding product and decided to venture into something new.  We found a cheese plant that was willing to make our milk into cheese and we have been told that it is terrific cheese, more than once!!!

We grow a large variety of vegetables, raspberries, bedding plants, herbs.  Our booth at the market changes with the season starting out mostly with plants and then, produce slowly takes over the space.  We offer a large selection, specializing in peppers, tomatoes, eggplant, watermelon and cantaloupe.  In the fall pumpkins, squash and gourds are available.  Our main growing season is May through October.

Our products are available at the following Lincoln farmers markets.  Saturday at the Haymarket, Sunday at the Old Cheney Road farmers market, Wednesday at the Havelock farmers market and also at the Garden Market on Wednesday.  We also take orders by phone or email.

We began selling at markets 25 years ago with the help of our teenage children.  Now our grandchildren help with the garden and in our booth.  They have learned to communicate with customers, count money back without the use of a calculator and how to earn money using their own hands.

We love to see our loyal customers returning each year.  It makes us feel great when we hear them say how much they enjoy our products.  We started with one card table 25 years ago and use two banquet tables plus a pickup loaded with melons, cantaloupe, pumpkins and squash.
